BE-terna Reactor Mobile Inventory

This guide walks you through the key processes and features of the BE-terna Reactor Mobile Inventory app. The app is designed to simplify warehouse operations, manage inventory efficiently, and enhance accuracy with mobile scanning.

 

Setting up the module

To be able to use the module, you need our Reactor Client and the BE-terna Reactor Platform Core App (AppSource). Please see the help page in the BE-terna Reactor Platform Core App AppSource offering to get and install the client, or contact us if you need assistance.

In order to use the module, please add it from the AppSource to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. Now you can customize the app to your needs. To do this, search for the “BE-Mobile Fusion Setup” in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and use the settings in the “Inventory” FastTab.

 

Main Modules and Processes

Transfer

This module helps manage direct transfers, either using material handling equipment or through direct movements.

 

Transfer with Material Handling Equipment

Designed for two-stage transfers via an intermediate (auxiliary) bin. Ideal for batch movements and temporary storage.

 

Associated Bin

Purpose: Use an intermediate bin for temporary storage when transferring items. This bin represents material handling equipment (like trolleys or pallets).

Steps:

  • Assign an intermediate bin code linked to specific handling equipment.
  • Use this bin code for Collect or Deposit processes.

 

Collect

Purpose: Move items to an intermediate bin (e.g., trolley or forklift).

Steps:

  • Scan or enter the source bin.
  • Confirm the item and quantity to collect.

 

Deposit

Purpose: Move items from the intermediate bin to their final destination.

Steps:

  • Confirm the item and quantity to deposit.
  • Scan or enter the destination bin.

 

Direct Transfer

Used for quick, direct movements between bins without intermediate storage.

 

Fetch

Purpose: Move items from a source bin to a destination bin.

Steps:

  • Scan or enter the destination bin.
  • Confirm the items and quantities to transfer.
  • Scan or enter the source bin.


Put

Purpose: Relocate items from one bin to another.

Steps:

  • Scan or enter the source bin.
  • Confirm the items and quantities to move.
  • Scan or enter the destination bin.


Complete Transfer

Purpose: Move the entire contents of a bin to another bin.

Steps:

  • Scan or enter the source bin.
  • Scan or enter the destination bin.
  • Confirm the transfer of all contents.


Query Item

Quickly access item information, including bin quantities and tracking details.

Process:

  1. Scan the item barcode or manually enter the item number.
  2. View detailed item information, including:
  • Item number, variant, and description
  • Item image (if available)
  • Current quantities in the bins
  • Purchase order quantity and expected receipt date
  • Detailed tracking information (if available)
     

Bin Content

Check the contents of specific bins and their quantities.

Process:

  1. Scan the bin code or manually enter it.
  2. View detailed information, including:
  • Items and quantities in the bin
  • Variants and item tracking details (if available)
